We are magnificent manifesting machines;

If you wish specific, speak your truth into the Universe and ask with pure wanting heart, you will receive something.

It may be an unsuspecting answer in an ugly package.

Open it anyway.

This is called the present because it is a gift. If we could hold each moment longer than it takes to blink but not enough to suffocate it, we would have something indeed.

That is called gratitude.

Every person you meet in this life is a walking opportunity to experience essential. Sometimes you will not like these people lessons. Do not take this education for granted like a petulant student. Learn it up close, as much as possible.

Preserve your mistakes like butterflies pinned to the corkboard of your mind, study them with enough precision to learn something. Make new ones. Make variations of the same. Do it over and over and over again. Become an expert mistakeologist.  

Realize when you are breaking your own heart. Do something about it. Nurture the need inside you like a small child. Give it a name, and speak it. Specifically and into necessary ears. As many times as it takes for you to remember your worth.

Don’t eat your heart. Eating your heart will make you sick. Forgiveness is the most empowering medicine, it only looks bitter from the outside. Trust: you are not allergic to this.

And yes—

You will have days where your shoes feel like they are on the wrong feet and you are clumsy Sisyphus pushing rock up impossible mountain.

Remember how you taught yourself to laugh all over again. Remember that you know much more than you think. 

Atomic Voicebox, this is your invitation to stop swallowing your art. To start speaking your truth like it is no longer stuck in your throat.

I dare you to shed that fear and grow new skin.

Bold Heart, this is your chance to crack open you mind and chest simultaneously. Potential is a curious fish that will swim into both of them when you least expect it. Be awake enough to catch it.
